Summary

Getting new customers, looking after them and keeping them does not happen overnight. It is an ongoing process that you will get better and better at and you are bound to make the odd mistake. Accept it, learn from it, and get better at it.

Also accept that what you have does not suit everyone. The more you become specialised in your offering, surprisingly your market opportunities increase because you become more appealing to specific groups of people.

Learn from other people’s good ideas and accept constructive criticism, but learn who you should take it from and who you shouldn’t. Everyone thinks they can do what you are doing but why aren’t they?.
